The Johnson County Health and Human Services Center (HHSC) was built in 1996. It is the home to the Johnson County Public Health Department's Olathe Office and the Human Service and Aging Department operates its Meals on Wheels program from the kitchen facility in the building. It also houses a nursing facility which was turned over to a private contractor in 2001.

Located on the former site of the County Poor Farm at 119th and Ridgeview, this two story building is the cornerstone for fuure development on this site.
